Oxylance / Ultrathermic Cutting

Ultrathermic cutting, also known as a thermal lance or oxylance, is a high-temperature cutting process that uses oxygen to melt and cut through almost any material, including metals and concrete. The system consists of a torch handle, oxygen supply, and a special rod containing iron or alloy steel, which acts as a sacrificial fuel. The rod is ignited, and oxygen is introduced to maintain a combustion reaction, generating extreme temperatures to melt and remove material for cutting, piercing, or gouging.
